Llandudno Lions Awareness Day 2024

July 2023 29th 2023 was a sunny day here in Llandudno as members of the Lions set up for thier first Awareness Day on the promenade in over 10 years. The event, a bainchild of Lions Ian Turner, enabled the Club to show its connetion to a nuber of charites and good causes it has supported and will continue to support. There has been a long association with cancer and Alzheimer charities.The Llandudno Lions have supporter Blood Bikes as part of the Club's previous Christmas charity appeals. Also present on the promenade were representatives from Blind Veterans UK (BVUK) as Llandudno is home to one of the charities properties.

The awareness day will be returning in 2024 and more oranisations will be included in the line up. Collections buckets and fund raising activites are being planned to help continue the good work many of the local organisations provide.
