Llandudno Lions Sea Dip 2024 Update

Its only a few days away from that BIG Day.......

The Lions Club of Llandudno Boxing Day Sea Dip 2024 is nearly here and already we have 50 Dippers pre-registered to take part. This link will take you to our Registration form - https://forms.office.com/r/kL1KgnYgAw. When you complete the form you will get a replay in about 24 hours with your registration documents. These documents include a form which you sign and bring with you on the day (you pre-registration form). You will also get some safety rules and a sponsorship form to use for your collecting if you wish. You can collect for the Lions Christmas Charity which is Alzheimer's UK and Papyrus UK.

If you wish, you can collect for your favourite chrity. So far this year we have dippers collecting for The Christie NHS foundation trust; Follow your dreams/frienDS (both charities for children with disabilities/down syndrome); Poppy Apeal; Zoe’s place children’s hospice; RNLI; Smith Magennis Foundation; British heart foundation; Brain Tumour Charity; Mencap and The Samaritan's; St David’s hospice; Haemophilia Society; Awyr Las and Greyhound Gap.

Tens of thousands of pounds will be raised during our Sea Dip with over 150 Dippers taking part.

This year, the tide will be quite away from the prom. We strongly urge Dippers to come suitable prepared for the condition and wear suitable footwear. This is a DIP not a swim and we want as many poeple to enjoy the fun on the day.

There will be prizes for the best fancy dress and our Grand Prize Raffle will be drawn after the dip and presentation. ALL registered Dippers will get a Cirtificate so please make sure you collect your before leaving. It will help when collecting your sponsorship money.

Also, many charities receive Gift Aid so if those sponsoring you pay tax and are UK residents, get them to tick the box on your sponsorship form and when you danate your money to them, give them your forms so that can claim Gift Aid.
